The CoolSculpting® system is a medical device that can reduce the layer of fat under the skin through controlled, non-invasive cooling.  The treatment is aimed at affecting the appearance of the submental area (also known as the double chin), thighs, abdomen and flanks. It is not a treatment for obesity or a solution for weight loss and does not replace traditional methods such as diet, exercise or liposuction.

CoolSculpting® technology uses controlled cooling  to target and freeze a portion of the fat cells under the skin. In the weeks following treatment, the body naturally begins to process and eliminate the fat cells that have been  frozen during treatment.
